PWH Sister Churches

There are a growing number of ongoing connections between U.S. churches and their counterparts in Haiti and we hope for more. Our primary goal is to bring US or foreign churches together with local Haitian Churches to advance the Great Commission (Mat.25:19, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded").

We work alongside and help equip Haitian churches to serve their communities and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. US churches serve hand-in-hand with their Haitian counterparts, always encouraging but never directing. Conversely, the Haitian church makes many contributions to its US counterpart, such as setting examples of love, creativity, spirituality and perseverance.

Monique Deciere keeps regular relationship with different pastors from our sister churches. US congregations have sister-church relationships with Haitian churches and schools in Jacmel, Port au Prince, Arcahaie, Silo, Ka-Thoman and several other communities. Not only are they blessings the Haitian Christians, but their hearts are full as they savor the joy of this relationship and share it with their own congregations.

If your church has a desire to connect with an Evangelical church in Haiti, please contact our Sister Church Coordinator.

Short-Term Church Construction Mission to Silo

A short-term mission team consisting of four Turbocam* employees, sponsored by the company, and 7 people from First Congregational Church, Kingston, NH were serving in Haiti November 4-11, 2017. Their work took them to the Silo (pron. 'see-low') ministry complex in a suburb of Port au Prince. They prepared the foundation for a new church building. Worshipers had begun meeting at the school facilities a little over a year ago. They also distributed gift bags donated by members of the FCC Kingston to all the students of the school and church. Other gift bags were given to an orphanage, students at AFCA school and another school Petit Goave where a former team member is no a missionary teacher. The Silo ministries were founded by the Haiti organization APCH, and associated with www.partnerswithhaiti.org in the USA. Click here to view the slideshow.
