Dr. Jean Claude Noel
Dr. David L. Madeira
Our Story
Partners with Haiti (PWH) was co founded by  Dr. Jean Claude Noel and Dr. David Maderia in 1971. Dr. Noel was born and raised in Haiti, and began serving the Lord by preaching throughout the country after he finished attending the Evangelical School of the Bible, sponsored by the Un-evangelized Fields Mission (UFM). Dr. Noel eventually moved to Rhode Island to pursue biblical studies, attending Barrington College. During his time in the United States, Dr. Noel met and partnered with Dr. David Madeira, Pastor of Barrington Baptist Church, to form the PWH organization . After graduating from Barrington College, Dr. Noel and his new wife Lydie, a pastor's daughter from Cap-Haitien whom he married in college, moved back to Haiti where Dr. Noel served as a national worker with UFM International. During his ministry in Haiti, Dr. Noel pastored Bolosse Baptist Church in Port au Prince, founded Nazon Evangelical Church, Council of Evangelical Churches of Haiti (CEEH), and the Association of Christian Women in Action (AFCA) Baptist Church. Lydie Noel implemented her vision to meet the needs of women in their country by providing training in sewing and the basics of life, such as hygiene and nutrition. Out of the Noel's labors grew the two most prominent current ministries of PWH, Bethany Project and AFCA Village ministry. Dr. Noel and his wife Lydie have both passed away, however the organization remains with the purpose of carrying out their legacy through fostering relationships with individuals and churches to provide spiritual, educational, and medical support to Haiti.
Our Mission
The purpose of Partners With Haiti is to exalt Jesus Christ by assisting the National Evangelical Church in Haiti and elsewhere, in preaching and teaching the whole counsel of God and providing assistance in education, medicine, feeding, housing and job creation.
Our Beliefs
-
We believe the Bible is the inspired, and only infallible authoritative Word of God.
-
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.
-
We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
-
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
-
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved to the resurrection of life, and those that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
-
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
